Missing some emails?

The good news is we have a great new anti-spam feature! The bad news is, it’s a little too great. You just might be missing out on a few emails. Tech Support is trying to decide just how to handle it and whether to remove it or find a way to make it less sensitive.

In the meantime, you might want to go in and periodically make sure none of your good stuff is getting marked spam. The messages in the spambox are deleted after 7 days so it might be good to go in at least once week depending on how much “spam” you’re getting.

How To Do It

Log into your cPanel. Under Mail, click on SPAM ASSP. Under Spam Scoring, click on the Log button. Here you’ll see a list of messages that have been tagged as spam (or you’ll see nothing at all). If you click the little S icon, you’ll get a pop-up where you can read the message. The I icon will send the message to your inbox. The R icon will let the server know that the sender is a valid email address which will whitelist the address and all messages will then go to your inbox. That’s the easy way. Of course you can click around in there and read up on it and learn more if you wish, but I prefer to keep things simple.

You could also log in to your webmail via Horde and you’ll find your spam messages in your spam box, but whitelisting is a little more complicated.

Stay tuned, when a final decision is made, I'll let you know. In the meantime, be patient as we iron out the kinks in attempts to keep you as spam free as we can.
